Who Are We?

Our Mission

Midnimo College was founded with a steadfast mission to deliver high-quality technical and vocational education to the youth of Galdogob and its surrounding regions. Recognizing the critical need for skilled professionals in the healthcare sector, our institution is dedicated to bridging the gap between education and the practical demands of the workforce.
Our primary goal is to empower the youth, especially those who have not had the opportunity to complete traditional schooling, by equipping them with the essential skills and knowledge required to make significant contributions to their communities. Through our targeted educational programs, we aim to create a generation of highly capable and compassionate healthcare providers who are not only technically proficient but also deeply committed to improving the health and well-being of the population.

Our Story

Established in 2017, Midnimo College quickly became the go-to institution for health and science education in Mudug. The college was founded in response to a comprehensive needs assessment study that revealed a significant shortage of well-trained healthcare providers in the region, which was affecting the quality and accessibility of medical care. To address this gap, Midnimo College offers practical and vocational training that equips students with the hands-on experience necessary to excel in the healthcare industry. Today, our graduates are employed in various health centers across Galdogob, providing essential services to an estimated population of 208,000. Their contributions have made a significant impact on the local healthcare system, improving health outcomes and addressing critical challenges in the region. The success of our graduates highlights the vital role that Midnimo College plays in developing a skilled workforce to meet the healthcare needs of Mudug and beyond.

Our Commitment To Female Education

At Midnimo College, we are deeply committed to the transformative power of education, particularly in the lives of women. We prioritize female education, making it a cornerstone of our mission, and as a result, the majority of our students are women. Recognizing the financial challenges faced by many in our community, we also offer scholarships to students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, ensuring that no one is left behind in their pursuit of education. Through these efforts, we aim to empower women and create opportunities for them to succeed and contribute meaningfully to their communities.

Our Graduates

Since our inception, Midnimo College has proudly graduated 349 students across seven batches, each equipped with the practical skills and knowledge necessary to thrive in the healthcare sector. These graduates are now employed in a wide range of healthcare facilities throughout the region, including hospitals, clinics, and mental health centers, where they are making a tangible impact on the health and well-being of their communities. Their work is crucial in providing essential medical services, addressing healthcare shortages, and improving the overall quality of life for the people they serve. The success and dedication of our alumni underscore the effectiveness of our programs and the significant role Midnimo College plays in building a stronger, healthier community.
